Cal-Comp Electronics (Thailand) Public Company Limited (hereinafter referred to as the “Company”) is requesting the job applicant’s consent to collect, use, and disclose personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (2019). This consent form is part of the job application process.
1. Purpose of Collecting, Using, and Disclosing Personal Data
As the data subject, the applicant gives consent to the Company (as the data controller) to collect, use, and disclose personal data for the following purposes:
1.1) To verify and evaluate the applicant’s qualifications during the recruitment process
1.2) To contact the applicant for interviews or other selection procedures
1.3) To verify the accuracy of personal data and related documents
1.4) To assess suitability for employment
1.5) To comply with labor laws, company policies, and other legal requirements
2. Types of Personal Data to Be Collected, Used, or Disclosed
The Company may collect, use, or disclose the following types of personal data:
2.1) General Information – such as full name, date of birth, national ID number, and documents issued by government agencies
2.2) Contact Information – such as phone number
2.3) Educational Background
2.4) Work Background
3. Data Retention Period
The Company will retain the applicant’s personal data for a period of 1 year from the date the interview process ends. If the applicant is employed, the data will be retained for the necessary period during employment and for an additional 2 years after termination of employment.
4. Disclosure of Personal Data
Personal data collected will be processed only by the Human Resources and Recruitment departments and will not be shared with third parties without the applicant’s consent.
However, the applicant acknowledges and agrees that the Company may transfer, share, or disclose personal data and/or sensitive personal data to:
4.1) Affiliates of Cal-Comp Electronics, both domestic and international
4.2) Clients of Cal-Comp Electronics if necessary to obtain client approval for employment or for access to the client’s projects
4.3) Data processors, legal entities, or individuals involved under contract as part of regular business operations
4.4) Business partners or external service providers such as auditors, internal and external compliance officers, legal advisors, attorneys, and IT service providers, as required or permitted by law
5. Rights of the Applicant Regarding Personal Data
The applicant has the right to:
5.1) Request a copy of their personal data
5.2) Request correction of inaccurate data
5.3) Object to the use or disclosure of data
5.4) Request deletion of personal data
5.5) Withdraw consent
5.6) Request the transfer of data to another data controller
5.7) File a complaint if their rights are violated
